Pre-K Librarian for a Day

Your Pre-K student can be Librarian for the Day at College Heights ECLC! His/her responsibilities will include helping lead their class during library time on Monday (specific date TBD) through these very important jobs: supervising book return, making sure all students are ready for storytime, helping Mrs. Joiner read the story, using the library scanner to check out books to classmates, labeling new books to add to the library catalog, reshelving books. Your student will receive a special Librarian for the Day badge to wear all day and will receive two copies of a book of his/her choosing, one to keep in the College Heights library with a custom bookplate, and another to keep at home as a memento of their Librarian for the Day experience. Photos of your child’s Librarian for the Day experience will be sent to you.

Water Wings one session swim lessons

We are one of the top swim schools intown, with facilities in Kirkwood/East Lake/Decatur, East Atlanta and Grant Park. Our lessons are structured yet playful and are taught by experienced instructors with a premium swimmer-to-instructor ratio. Our lessons are held in the evenings, after 5 PM, and at outdoor pools for a low-risk, enjoyable atmosphere.
